eAgent is certified for Citizens’ downloads

Citizens’ Agency Download Service, an automated process that allows Citizens’ ePAS policy information to download into an agency’s management system, is now available through eBridge Solutions’ agency management system, eAgent.

Agency Download is an automated process that allows Citizens’ ePAS policy information to download directly into eAgent. It will save time by eliminating re-keying of data and making policy administration easier. 

Each night, Citizens transmits new or changed ePAS policy information to IVANS. It is sorted and placed into individual agencies’ IVANS mailboxes. The information is available for download into eAgent the following day. All personal residential policy information issued through ePAS is available for download.

“This is great news for Florida insurance agents,” explained Leslie Haywood, CEO of eBridge Solutions. “The introduction of downloads from Citizens makes eAgent more valuable to agents by removing more of the manual processes associated with writing and managing insurance policies.”

Participation is optional and registration is free. The Download Service requires a monthly fee of $14.95. The fee is payable to IVANS, who Citizens has partnered with for this service, and will be charged only during the months that download activity occurs.

To register, agents should go to www.ivans.com/citizens. Agents will need to provide their agency FEIN and ePAS Master Agency ID during the registration process. If they already have an IVANS account, the registration process must be completed to add Citizens to their existing profile.
